Die deutsche Leistungsbilanz verzeichnete im September 2025 einen Überschuss von 18,6 Mrd €. Das Ergebnis lag um 9,1 Mrd € über dem Niveau des Vormonats. Wesentlich dafür war der höhere Aktivsaldo im Warenhandel. Hinzu kam der Umschwung ins Plus im Bereich der „unsichtbaren“ Leistungstransaktionen, die neben Dienstleistungen auch Primär- und Sekundärein­kommen umfassen.
