- Crypto assets play now a relevant role in the financial world. This presents supervisory authorities and central banks with new tasks and challenges: Existing financial institutions expand their business models, new participants appear in the market and various types of crypto assets are emerging.
- This web conference provides an overview of the EU approach to the regulation of crypto assets and service providers as well as the German approach towards supervision and licensing process. Furthermore, it places the EU approach in the international context of the Basel Framework. Senior experts from Deutsche Bundesbank who are directly involved in these activities will inform about their work.
Target group
This online course is aimed at staff in central banks and supervisory authorities who are interested in the supervision of crypto assets. It is especially useful for colleagues working in banking supervision or financial stability.
