Internationale Zentralbankkurse
Die Deutsche Bundesbank bietet seit 1995 internationale Zentralbankkurse für Zentralbankmitarbeiterinnen und -mitarbeiter aus aller Welt an. Die Kurse finden entweder als Präsenzveranstaltung oder online statt (siehe Kursbeschreibung, bitte bei der Anmeldung beachten). An den in englischsprachigen Kursen können bis zu 20 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter von Zentralbanken teilnehmen. Aus Platzgründen kann nur ein Teilnehmer/eine Teilnehmerin pro Zentralbank eingeladen werden. Jährlich nehmen über 600 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter von Zentralbanken aus rund 80 Ländern an unseren Internationalen Zentralbankkursen teil.
Ziel der Kurse ist es, über die rein fachliche Wissensvermittlung hinaus ein internationales Forum für den Gedanken- und Meinungsaustausch zu bieten. Die Bundesbank verfolgt daher bei der Gestaltung ihrer internationalen Zentralbankkurse einen differenzierten Ansatz. Je nach Zielgruppe (Führungskräfte, Spezialisten, Berufseinsteiger oder Nachwuchskräfte) werden die Kurse als Seminar, als Kurs mit praktischen Anteilen (z. B. am Computer), als Diskussionsforum oder als reiner Workshop konzipiert. Die Kursdauer variiert zwischen drei Tagen und einer Woche.

The course is aimed at policymakers in banking supervision, on-site and off-site supervisors, ICT auditors. Participants should have at least an intermediate understanding of banking supervision and ICT and be prepared to share their knowledge with other participants in the group.

Cash cycle — Role of CB & external cash recycling
This online course is aimed at those central bank employees who are interested in the national cash cycle in their country of origin or who would like an insight into how the Bundesbank organises its monitoring activities.

Monetary policy communication In cooperation with the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) and the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI)
This course is aimed at junior to mid-level central bank officials working in the communication department or economics/monetary policy department, especially in central banks under or moving towards an inflation targeting regime, and (ii) officials from central banks whose responsibilities require, or who have a strong interest in acquiring, a thorough understanding of central bank communication.

The course is designed for those relatively new to cash management and for professionals who wants to expand their knowledge in this field. It is recommended especially for representatives of developing countries and emerging economies. Participants should have at least some background in cash management.
